LLAA: Bargaining Team & Goals Unanimously Approved

In a sign of overwhelming unity, Lifelong AIDS Alliance members unanimously approved the composition of the Bargaining Team and goals.

The Bargaining Team members are:
  • Ada Santerre
  • Lynnea Karlic
  • Jane Tudor
  • Margot Lee

On December 14, 2007, Bargaining Team members from our union and management went to an Interest Based Bargaining training conducted by the Federal Mediation and Conciliation Service. Both parties agreed to extend our contract through February 29, 2008.

Luis de Jesus“I am impressed with the strong unity we have going into contract bargaining including the support for and from our brothers and sisters in Nutrition Services, who just joined our union. It is really very important for us to stay united especially during this bargaining process.”
Luis de Jesus

Jane Tudor“I am looking forward to being a part of the Bargaining Team and to represent the voice in the kitchen. I think it will be a great learning experience and I hope to bring my creative input to the table.”
Jane Tudor, Executive Sous Chef
Ada Santerre“I believe we have a terrific Bargaining Team and I’m looking forward to a productive process with good results.”
Ada Santerre

Lynnea Karlic“This bargaining time is pretty exciting. We have an open space as union members and management to communicate about what we want.”
Lynnea Karlic

Margot Lee“Personally, I’m very excited at the next step of the contract bargaining process. I’m fully confident the fabulous Bargaining Team we have selected will represent us well. The Bargaining Teams will work hard in making sure both parties’ concerns and needs are met and that the process is a democratic one. We are already working with the management team creating a space where we could accomplish our goals. As part of the Bargaining Team, I’m committed to our union and its future success in our organization.”
