More than 800 professional, service and maintenance workers at Seattle’s Northwest Hospital are proud members of SEIU Healthcare 1199NW.

We formed our union in 2000-2001 at our private, non-profit hospital. United together, we are strong advocates for improved patient care and workers rights.

Hundreds Reject Management’s Proposal

“We're voting no because management wouldn't offer more than a 3% raise or provide affordable health care for our kids.”

This past Thursday, Northwest Hospital SEIU members voted by a margin of 98% to return to bargaining and to reject management's "final" proposal.

Our Bargaining Team had recommended rejecting the offer for its failure to recognize that pay and benefits here at Northwest are behind community standards.

We now call on management to return to the table to bargain a fair contract that all sides can agree on.
