In 2006 and 2007, 1126 caregivers voted to join our union:
  • Airlift Northwest207 mental health workers at Compass Health South voted unanimously to unite with their colleagues at Compass Health North in our union.
  • In Eastern Washington, 41 RNs and LPNs at Prosser Memorial Hospital formed a new chapter and joined our union.
  • 130 RNs, LPNs, Techs, EMTs, paramedics, and clerical and service workers at Klickitat Valley Health Services in Goldendale overcame significant employer opposition, built tremendous community support and bargained a great first contract.
  •  At Evergreen Hospital Medical Center, 672 hospital workers joined our union despite significant management delay and are bargaining to match the contract standards we have achieved in the Puget Sound market.
  • The 76 Northwest Airlift RNs, who are stationed in Alaska and throughout Washington, overwhelmingly voted to join our union and are bargaining their first contract to become SEIU 1199NW's newest members.
