When tragedies impact our communities, SEIU Healthcare 1199NW members unite to show our support and concern. Many of the 200 SEIU Healthcare 1199NW members at Cascade Valley Hospital in Arlington, one of the nearest hospitals to Oso, live in the affected communities and personally know members of our communities who lost their lives and homes in the mudslide. Members have seen first-hand the devastation the mudslide has had in our communities.
Union members at Cascade reached out to fellow SEIU Healthcare 1199NW members to assist our communities. In total, we raised more than $5,000 to support our neighbors.
