We rallied for a strong contract and national agreement at Kaiser!

Kaiser healthcare workers united in 1199NW and OPEIU Local 8 – alongside our family, friends, neighbors, elected officials, and community leaders – rallied for a strong local contract and national agreement! As a part of the Kaiser Workers National Week of Action, our Kaiser union siblings held rallies across the country.

After four national bargaining sessions and a handful of local sessions, Kaiser is not where we need them to be at the negotiating table. We’re demanding an end to the rampant staffing crisis caused by low wages and poor working conditions – our patients are not getting the care they need!

In Capitol Hill, Tacoma, Bellevue, and Spokane, we came together to make our voice loud and clear: Kaiser is not living up to their mission. Care is extremely compromised, and we need competitive pay and a strong agreement NOW.
