RESOURCES FOR PEOPLE AT RISK OF LOSING TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS (TPS)
On June 23, 2026, the Supreme Court ended protective status for Haitian and Syrian members of our community. This decision upholds the Trump administration’s unconscionable policy that threatens the lives of thousands of our friends, family, and neighbors. No matter where we were born or what we look like, we all deserve the opportunity to pursue a better life for our families. Yet the Trump administration has once again chosen to tear families apart because of its racist, divisive agenda.
While we’re still studying the full impact of the ruling along with community partners and our International Union, we are prepared to take action for immigrant rights and stand ready to assist any impacted members. Washington state has a network of nonprofit organizations that can assist TPS holders, asylum seekers, refugees, and immigrants who may be at risk:

ICE IN AIRPORTS
The Administration announced that it would deploy ICE agents to airports starting Monday, March 23. We have no further information about these plans or whether these agents will conduct raids or other aggressive operations.
