After months of hard work and countless actions including an informational picket in solidarity with our MultiCare union siblings, behavioral healthcare workers at Navos in Seattle have ratified a strong new contract that allows us to thrive, not just survive!
Highlights from our agreement include big wage increases for everyone, increased shift premiums, new trainer language, and more. We also stood strong and fought off MultiCare’s efforts to weaken our contract through takeaways – we said NO, rejecting their proposed anti-union dues clause and protecting paid negotiation time for our bargaining team members.
By standing united, persisting, and never wavering from our core values on what we need to make Navos great, we ratified a contract that will improve our lives and the lives of our patients and communities. That’s the union difference.
