We improved our health benefits at UW Medicine-Valley Medical Center!

We stood united for affordable healthcare and made major gains for all workers at Valley. We partnered with our brothers and sisters from OPEIU and UFCW, and administration to create an affordable healthcare plan for today and that is designed for future affordability. With our input, we’ve helped design a wellness plan that will help lower our healthcare costs, keeping the plans affordable for all of us. That’s why our healthcare benefit committee worked together to design a plan that keeps our care affordable and also offers incentives to participate in the first activities toward building a plan that will contain healthcare costs.

Affordable coverage for our families.

Our health benefits team focused on lowering premiums to cover our children. Our new wellness plan encourages healthy choices that will keep our plan affordable. Anyone who completes their wellness activities receives up to a $50/month credit on their monthly premium.
